Congratulations to

and

for winning my 88,888 Kiriban.

I'm sure many of you who would actually read this are already Star Trek lovers, like me...if you've never gotten into Star Trek then you probably won't until someone gets you to.
I must say, I am so very thankful

got me into Star Trek. I mean, I was introduced to it all through out my life, by my dad (who watched it from time to time) from my past friends who kept emphasizing how great it was (Thank you James.) I saw bits of it here and there, but it never clicked with me.
I feel so privilege now that I am older to really understand what is going on with the series. The latest Star trek movie was the first one I really sat through. I was blown away by storyline...Star trek isn't just some geeky movie made by super nerds (as many of the media and cartoons portrayed it to be.) It's a masterpiece, that worked it's way up from a downfall of views in the beginning of its stardom. (I can't wait to re-watch the latest movie and actually understand the jokes.)
Of course my favorite characters are Spock and Bones, the trilogy with Captain Kirk is simply genius. The was they support and complement each other. Spock the logical one, Bones the Humorous one, and Kirk in the middle, the balance of the three. I haven't gotten into "Next Generation" yet, but from what I hear from the family...it's going to something to look forward to. I'm kind of afraid for this series to end, and I'm not even half way done with all the movies and episodes! And even then, we're still making movies today.
*WARNING SPOILERS, DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THESE MOVIES
- Star Trek I
Oh! I definitely had a psychology buzz from this movie. (Metaphorically speaking of course.) I was swept away from the fact that Voyager from our time would be the cause of the chaos in this movie. The psychology of a mechanical being as a child really caught my attention. I loved it the way Bones and Spock pointed that out and Kirk had to play daddy to save the Earth. Imagen a child holding the fate of the Earth in it's hands. I really would like to see what crazy demention actually took this outdated data collected and turned it into a ultimate Cybernetic form with such Power! I'd like to slap them up side their head! Look how much trouble they caused us! *laughs*
-Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan
Oh boy, Oh boy, I just love Khan, yes I do. He is so perfect for the part, and I was so curious as to see his planet evolve with his intelligence and strength. It was so disappointing to find out that the planet died soon after he got there! His wife! No children! I thought this would go no where, but they really changed my mind when it came to the Genesis project. Oh gawd, genius work! I loved the Genesis project, the reference, the use, and the outcome. I just about died when Spock died! OMG, I wasn't ready for him to leave so soon. I honestly almost cried if

didn't say they were going to find him in the next movie. PHEW!~
-Star Trek III: The Search For Spock
I think I'm going to invest in reading some of the Star Trek novels, especially the ones with Spock and Lieutenant Saavik, although I prefer Spock and Commander Uhura. (It is just the psychology between their ((Saavik & Spock)) love is what I am really interested in.) Being forced into a loving relation because of a natural Vulcan-ian physical and mental part of growing up. Poor Spock had to endure the rapid pace of growing so fast without his mind, his conscious state of being. It really grabbed me when he became himself after the ceremony with Bones and the high priestess of Vulcan in the 3rd movie. I asked, what does he think now, looking back at that unconscious state of being!?
Anyway, I've probably confused many of you and I really don't need to ramble, but if anyone wants to talk Star Trek, I am here.
